Nioh 3 update 1.060 (v1.06) improves Stone of Penance rewards, increases divine equipment availability, and adds stronger replay incentives in Shogun’s Journey. According to the official Nioh 3 version 1.060 patch notes, the latest update also reduces enemy guard frequency, adjusts enemy health in select missions, and fixes combat, multiplayer, menu, and crash-related issues across PS5 and Steam.

Stone of Penance Changes
- Adjusted elemental damage taken by enemies while using the Stone of Penance.
- Updated Ki behavior for human enemies while the Stone of Penance is active.
- Areas outside the Crucible now receive the same increased drop rates as the Crucible when using the Stone of Penance.
- Improved drop rates for equipment level 161 and above while using the Stone of Penance.
- Increased gold rewards earned while using the Stone of Penance.
Gameplay Adjustments
- Reduced how often certain human enemies use guard.
- Lowered the health of selected enemies in the Battle Scroll Within Time Everlasting.
- Crucible weapons can now also drop in Lesser Crucibles.
- Raised the selling value of divine equipment.
- Added repeat-clear rewards for enemy bases, Lesser Crucibles, Myth missions, and Master missions in Shogun’s Journey.
- Repeat-clear rewards can now include divine rarity equipment.
- Improved reward quality to make high +value items easier to obtain during enhanced memory recalls in Shogun’s Journey.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue where guarding with the spear or odachi could fail after receiving lethal damage.
- Fixed a problem preventing Grapple attacks on Honda Tadakatsu when his Ki reached zero.
- Resolved an issue where certain enemies in Battle Scrolls failed to drop equipment.
- Fixed a multiplayer issue where guest Stone of Penance records would not update correctly.
- Addressed additional minor bugs and gameplay issues.
PlayStation 5 Fixes
- Fixed control conflicts between Selection Settings and Help controls in menus such as the Blacksmith screen.
Steam Fixes
- Fixed a crash that could occur when moving the cursor with mouse clicks in the Equipment Appearance menu.
Recently, a major Nioh 3 patch 1.040 added free celebration armor, improves multiplayer rewards and high-level gear drops, introduces several system and UI upgrades. Today’s Nioh 3 version 1.060.000 will address a few of these issues. Remaining issues with be addressed in the upcoming Nioh 3 update 1.060.010 for PlayStation 5.
