EA NHL 25 update 1.031 (1.3.1) is available to download on PS5, and Xbox Series X/S players. According to the official NHL 25 1.031 patch notes, the latest update fixes desync issues with icon passing in online modes and addresses several Franchise Mode bugs, including inaccessible conversation tabs during AHL preseason/offseason, navigation delays, and soft locks during contract negotiations. In addition, NHL 25 patch 1.031.000 also includes stability improvements.

Gameplay
- Fixed an issue where if users had different icon passing settings it would cause a desync
- Icon passing is now available again in all online modes
Franchise Mode
- Fixed an issue where the conversation tab was not accessible in AHL preseason or offseason.
- Fixed delay when navigating Scout Specfic Players, Find Trade and Edit Linesscreens
- Fixed a soft lock that would happen when negotiation of a contract in re-sign phase and free agency of the offseason
Recently, NHL 25 patch 1.030 added quality of life changes. Unfortunately, players are facing online connection and server issues with the game.
