NBA 2K26 update 1.006 (patch 1.4) is available to download on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. According to the official NBA 2K26 1.006 patch notes, the latest NBA 26 patch 1.4 resolves major matchmaking issues that prevented locker rooms from filling and eliminates a bug showing outdated Daily Challenges. Furthermore, players can now earn Build Specialization progress through NBA games in MyCareer, which had been previously disabled. Apart from this, today’s NBA 2K26 patch 1.006 (version 1.006.000) also includes The City stability fixes.

Numerous fixes to game stability in The City have been made.

Resolved an issue with matchmaking that prevented locker rooms from properly filling; additional matchmaking improvements and optimizations will be arriving over the next week.

Build Specialization progress has been re-enabled when playing NBA games.
Recently, NBA 2K25 update 1.011 (season 6) added uniform adjustments, court additions, gameplay tweaks, and improvements across game modes. Unfortunately, since the last patch, players have been facing a number of error codes and connection issues. Today’s 2K26 update 1.006 will fix a few of these issues.
