NBA 2K26 update 1.005 (patch 1.3) is available to download on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. According to the official NBA 2K26 1.005 patch notes, the latest Patch 1.3 for NBA 2K25 fixes disconnects in online modes, retains Cap Breakers when leaving a Crew, and improves Challenge tracking. Apart from this, today’s NBA 2K26 patch 1.005 (version 1.005.000) also addresses progression issues in MyCAREER, removes obstructive camera cuts in Pro-Am, and includes fixes for PC-specific controls and custom shoe display. No gameplay balance changes were made in this update.

THE CITY / PARK / PRO-AM / REC / THEATER

Fixed a reported game disconnect that was occurring for some users in Park, Theater, REC, and Proving Grounds games.

Cap Breakers and Max +1/+2 Badge Perks will now be correctly retained when leaving a Crew, and they will be restored to players who previously lost them in this situation.

Various fixes and improvements have been made to Challenges to ensure proper tracking and completion, particularly in relation to those that carry across saves.

Games played in the Gatorade Training Facility will now count towards Daily Challenge progress.

Long camera cuts that could potentially block active gameplay on possession changes in Pro-Am games have been removed.

Unqualified Takeover Abilities can no longer be activated in online games where Takeover Presets can be set.

Conditions for progressing the Up For The Challenge Performance Multiplier have been made easier.

Recently, NBA 2K25 update 1.011 (season 6) added uniform adjustments, court additions, gameplay tweaks, and improvements across game modes. Unfortunately, since the last patch, players have been facing a number of error codes and connection issues. Today’s 2K26 update 1.005 will fix a few of these issues.
