According to the official NBA 2K26 1.004 patch notes, the latest NBA 26 update improves stability across The City, ensures VC rewards function in MyCAREER, enhances MyTEAM menus and tutorials, and resolves MyGM task progression issues for smoother gameplay.   • Improved performance of Auction House menus.

  • Coaches remain in lineups when editing after first entering the mode.

  • Added safeguards to prevent players from getting stuck in the Welcome to MyTEAM tutorial.

MyGM

  • Fixed issue preventing completion and generation of offseason tasks.

Recently, NBA 2K25 update 1.011 (season 6) added uniform adjustments, court additions, gameplay tweaks, and improvements across game modes. Unfortunately, since the last patch, players have been facing a number of error codes and connection issues. Today’s 2K26 update 1.004 will fix a few of these issues.
