2K Games has released a new NBA 2K25 version 1.010 (1.010.000) on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. According to the official NBA 2K25 update 1.010 patch notes, the latest update brings quality of life changes and improvements. Apart from this, today’s NBA 2K25 patch 1.010 also includes stability fixes.
Previously, 2K25 patch 1.002 added quality of life improvements. Unfortunately, since the release, players have been facing a number of error codes and connection issues. Today’s 2K25 update 1.010 will fix a few of these issues.
NBA 2K25 Update 1.010 Patch Notes
- Addressed an issue that could cause multiple versions of MyPLAYER to appear in the NBA in MyCAREER and potentially prevent certain quests from completing.
- Fixed a hang that some users were reporting when attempting to use the Social menu.
- Resolved error messages and other reported problems when attempting to launch the PC version under certain conditions.
- Fixed connection issues that could occur when playing Starting 5 games in the City.
- Stability and performance changes have been made to improve the overall playing experience.
The following changes were added with NBA 2k25 day one patch.
Gameplay Changes
- Enhanced defensive coverage on the perimeter to minimize ineffective contests
- Expanded the success window for open-meter dunks
City, Pro-Am, Rec, and Theater Updates
- Implemented multiple stability fixes in the City for a better user experience
- Fixed a black screen issue post-Rec games that led users back to the main menu
- Upgraded the Social Menu for both functionality and stability, aiming for a smoother experience
MyCareer, Quests, and Progression Tweaks
- Addressed a hanging issue when trying to load a MyCAREER save, reported by users
- Fixed a sporadic issue that blocked rewards upon completing specific quests, such as Rebirth and Badge Perks
- Sealed a loophole affecting offseason progression when attending practice post-final NBA game
