NBA 2K24 Update 1.009 Patch Notes (NBA 2K24 Season 5 Details)

NBA 2K24 update 1.009 is available to download on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. According to the official NBA 2K24 1.009 patch notes, the latest season 5 update brings memorial stripes on Pacers and Warriors jerseys. Player likeness adjustments include new tattoos and hair updates. Enhancements to City, Pro-Am, and MyCAREER modes improve overall experience. Apart from this, today’s NBA 2K24 version 1.009.000 also fixes MVP trophy issues and ensure shoe cards display correctly. MyNBA and The W address rare hanging problems during gameplay simulation and team creation.

Unfortunately, since the last patch 1.004, players have been facing a number of error codes and connection issues. Today’s 2K24 update 1.009 will fix a few of these issues.

General Updates:

  • NBA 2K24 Season 5 starts on Friday, February 23, at 8AM PT/11AM ET/4PM GMT. Get ready for exciting changes!
  • Indiana Pacers jerseys now feature the George McGinnis #30 memorial stripe.
  • Golden State Warriors jerseys now include the Dejan Milojević commemorative patch.
  • Player likeness updates for:
    • LaMelo Ball (tattoo update)
    • Ish Wainright (tattoo update)
    • Derrick White (default hair update)

City/Pro-Am/Rec/Theater/MyCAREER:

  • Various enhancements made to improve performance, stability, and visuals in the City and MyCAREER mode.

MyTEAM:

  • Adjusted Unlimited Weekend Championship to prevent a player from the losing team from winning the MVP trophy.
  • Fixed issue with shoe cards not appearing on players in Triple Threat Online: Co-Op games.

MyNBA/The W:

  • Fixed a rare hang issue in MyNBA Online when simulating past the All-Star Game with Start Today option.
  • Resolved a hang problem in MyWNBA when creating an expansion team and advancing in the season with the Protected Players option enabled.
