NBA 2K24 patch 1.09 details are available for PS4, PC, Xbox and Switch players. According to the NBA 2K24 1.09 patch notes, the latest update resolves various game-crashing bugs. Apart from this, today’s NBA 2K24 version 1.09 also includes network connection improvements.
Recently, the game was released with positive reviews. Unfortunately, since the release, players have been facing a number of error codes and connection issues. Today’s NBA 2K24 update 1.09 will fix a few of these issues.

GENERAL

The shorts number on the Los Angeles Lakers 2018 City uniform has been removed
- The coloring on the sponsor patch for the Dallas Mavericks City edition uniform has been adjusted
- The sponsor patch for the Atlanta Hawks uniform has been updated (pending next roster update)
- The new City court for the New Orleans Pelicans has been added (pending next roster update)
- The new City court for the Memphis Grizzlies has been added (pending next roster update)
- The “DM” heart decal has been added to the Golden State Warriors court to honor Dejan Milojević
Kia branding has been added to the Orlando Magic arena to reflect the recent real-life update - Adjusted the fill coloring for accuracy in the center logo on the New York Knicks court
GAMEPLAY
- Devin Booker’s spin jumper requirement has been adjusted to match the rest of his animations, and is now available to players 6’9″ and under

- Updated Agendas that require fast break points to properly count 4-pointers in Clutch Time modes

- Resolved a rare hang that could occur in MyNBA when staff relationships are updated
Gameplay Fixes and Updates
- Standing Dunks now rely on the Standing Dunk rating, not the Driving Dunk, for determining the green window size.
- Dunk meter logic revamped to better align window size with dunk difficulty.
- On-ball steal system glitch fixed, eliminating the ball’s yo-yo effect during crossovers and behind-the-back moves.
- Foot planting enhanced to minimize out-of-bounds violations near the sidelines.
- Jumping early as a blocker and landing on ball handlers or shooters will now always result in a foul.
- More accurate shot coverage detection differentiates between OPEN and WIDE OPEN shots.
- Minor boosts added to close shots, wide-open jumpers, and the Limitless Range badge.
- Double dribble exploit in 1v1 games removed, which involved alley-oop/fake passing to no one.
- Right Stick UP no longer triggers easy, risk-free pass interceptions.
- Adrenaline system updated to reward successful post move stops and not consume boosts during rim drives.
- Klay Thompson’s jump shot aesthetic issue resolved.
- Rare glitch fixed where the ball could get stuck on the stanchion.
- Heat Check and Recharge player indicators now display only when relevant.
- Rebound-to-putback distance limitations imposed.
- Putbacks and mid-air jelly layups are now correctly classified based on defender proximity.
- Screen-setting responsiveness improved.
- “Griefing” logic updated to better distinguish between good and bad full-court shots.
- Multiple event logic issues fixed, including “Excessive Violations Committed” and “Good Defensive Possession.”

New sculpts or updates have been rolled out for historic players like LaMarcus Aldridge, Chris Andersen, Kwame Brown, and others.
City, Pro-Am, Rec, and Theater Enhancements
Performance and Stability
Significant improvements in performance, stability, and visuals elevate the overall City experience. User-reported latency during multiplayer games has also been reduced.
Social and Gameplay Features
Squads can now chat while waiting on Got Next circles. Progression in Pro-Am and Starting 5 games stays intact even if the opposing player leaves. Custom shoes now appear in the Rec clothing category as intended, and stats are properly displayed on the Team Matchup overlay during Pro-Am games.
Visual and Functional Fixes
Several issues have been addressed, including a rare loading icon glitch in the City and a timing issue causing invisible players. The Social menu is now more functional, and various animations for vehicles have been sped up.
Additional Adjustments
A range of other fixes and enhancements have been made, from the Win Streak count appearing correctly postgame to lowered difficulty for initial Streetball opponents.
