Multiversus update 1.029 is rolling out on PS4, PS5, Xbox One and PC(Steam). According to the official Multiversus 1.29 patch notes, the latest update brings new rewards, including Banana Guard and Lady Banana Guard for completing the tutorial. Returning Open Beta players get the Season 1 premium Battle Pass, Jason Voorhees character, and special edition items. Apart from this, MultiVersus version 1.029.000 also enhanced Battle Pass rewards, new currencies, and revamped Perks system improve gameplay.
Previously, a major MultiVersus update 1.07 added new features, fixes, and more. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing several issues. Today’s MultiVersus patch 1.29 will fix a few of these issues.

- Banana Guard Character: Unlock Banana Guard from Adventure Time for free at launch.
- Lady Banana Guard Variant: Complete all seven days to unlock the Lady Banana Guard character variant.
Returning Open Beta Players
- Season 1 Premium Battle Pass: Log in by June 11 to receive it for free.
- Jason Voorhees Character: Unlock Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th as the first reward.
- Special Edition Items: Receive Snow Suit Finn character variant, Rising Stars ringout, and Banana Guard announcer pack.
Battle Pass Updates
- Enhanced Rewards: More high-value items in both free and premium tiers.
- Gleamium Earnings: Earn premium currency through both tiers to unlock in-game items or future Battle Passes.
- New Character: Jason Voorhees available in the premium tier and through character tokens or in-game currency.
- Extended Duration: Season 1 Battle Pass lasts eight weeks with repeatable final tier rewards.
Currency Updates
- Gleamium, Character Tokens, and Battle Pass Tokens: Retain their usability from Open Beta.
- New Currencies:
- Fighter Currency: Earn in-game to obtain fighters.
- Perk Currency: Use to unlock perks.
- Prestige Currency: Unlock Prestige cosmetics based on item rarity.
- Gold Replacement: Commemorative cosmetics provided based on Gold earned during Open Beta.
Perks Updates
- System Overhaul: Removed underused Perks, reworked favorites, and added new Perks.
- Perk Reset: All Perks reset from Open Beta, unlockable with new Perk currency.
- Mastery Tracks: Reset to level 1 for both player and account mastery, offering fair opportunities to earn rewards.
