MOUSE P.I. For Hire update 2.001 (v1.1.0) is available to download on PS5, PC and Xbox. According to the official MOUSE P.I. For Hire patch 2.001 patch notes, the latest update brings a reworked Curdsville final boss fight, achievement tracking updates, extensive crash and softlock fixes. Additionally, the latest MOUSE P.I. For Hire patch 2.001 also includes quest progression corrections and new Alpha ultrawide support for PC players.

PC Changes

  • Added Alpha ultrawide screen support.
  • Fixed movement rebinding issues affecting vehicles and lockpicking.
  • Default FOV on PC handheld devices changed from 105 to 90.
  • Added keyboard rebinding support on handheld devices when a keyboard is connected.
  • Fixed black screen issues when skipping cutscenes.
  • Resolved progression issues in Vaudeville and Clergy Row.
  • Fixed softlock caused by pressing ESC during newspaper animations.
  • Corrected resolution reset issues when discarding settings.
  • Reduced the chance of save corruption on PC.

Recently, Mouse update 1.007 added quality of life changes and tweaks. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing several issues while playing the game. Today’s MOUSE: P.I. For Hire version 2.001.000 will fix a few of these issues.
