Monster Hunter Rise Update 3.9.0 Patch Notes (Official) – January 27, 2022

Monster Hunter Rise update 3.9.0 will soon roll out on PC(Steam) and Nintendo Switch. According to the official Monster Hunter Rise patch notes, the latest MH Rise update 3.9.0 brings added new content and bug fixes.

Unfortunately, since the last patch, players are experiencing several issues with the game. Today’s Monster Hunter Rise patch 3.9.0 will address a few of these issues.

What is new in MH Rise Update 3.9.0.0 Patch Notes?

Free support armor to help beginning players progress through the game more easily!

Two Collab Quest with Universal Studios Japan, and a special Palico!

Complete the Collab Quests to earn materials to craft special weapons, armor, and layered armor for your Hunter, Palico, and Palamute.
You’ll also be able to recruit a special Palico called “MEOW LIMIT!”

Major new features and adjustments

  • HDR settings are now available as a separate setting by going to Options > Display > Screen Mode.
    *You need to enable your HDR settings in Windows to use HDR mode.
  • Buddy armor all used to have the exact same generic shadow. There will now be unique shadows for each piece of armor.
  • All additions and adjustments to the Nintendo Switch version up to Ver.3.9.0 will be applied here as well.

Regarding Paid DLC

When Ver.3.9.0.0 is released, there will also be new DLC on the store. However, please note that it may take some time for all DLC items to be reflected on the store. Please keep this in mind while shopping.

What is fixed in MH Rise 3.9.0 Patch Notes?

All bug fixes made in the Nintendo Switch version up to Ver.3.9.0 will be applied here as well.
