Monster Hunter Rise is now available to download on PC. Unfortunately, since the release, some players are experiencing issues, MH Rise crashes, error codes, lag, and more. Today, we have compiled a list of Monster Hunter Rise known issues, bugs, and glitches.

Monster hunter Rise Controller issue

Players are reporting that the Xbox controller is getting stuck on the triggers. The MH Rise fails to detect the controller in the game. A fix is coming.

Workaround: Restart the PC.

Monster Hunter Rise PC Crashes

There are reposts that the game randomly crashes. The game developer team is working on a fix.

MH Rise low FPS issue.

Players are reporting low FPS issues in the game. A fix will roll out soon.

Monster Hunter Rise failed to save game

Players are reporting Monster Hunter Rise game save issues. The devs are working on a fix.

Controls not working in Monster Hunter Rise

Sometimes, game controls get stuck in the middle of the game.

Workaround: Make sure that you do not have additional input devices. If you have a controller plugged in, try to disconnect and reconnect it.

Monster Hunter Rise game launching issues

Players are also reporting game launching bugs where the game fails to launch.

Fix – Add the game’s folder and files to your anti-virus program’s exception / exclusion list

Some launching issues may be attributed to certain Anti-Virus software preventing the game executable from launching due to a false-positive error. We recommend users add all of the following files and folders to the Anti-virus and Firewall exclusion list to prevent this issue. If these files and folders were already added previously, try removing them from the exclusion list and re-adding them.

Other Issues

  • The distance in the server list currently doesn’t work properly.
  • More localized language versions are coming.
  • Various multiplayer issues.
