Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 update 1.21 patch notes details released for PS4, PC, and Xbox One. According to the Modern Warfare 2 version 1.21 patch notes, the latest update adds new map(Vandel) for battle royale, new Gulag, new skins, new weapons, and much more. Apart from this, COD Modern Warfare 2 patch 1.21 also includes stability fixes.
Previously, a major Modern Warfare 2 Season 4 update added a new medium-sized Warzone map, seven new Multiplayer maps, four new armaments and an infamous (masked) face. Unfortunately, many players are still experiencing a number of issues while playing the game. Today’s Warzone 2 update 1.21 will address a few of these issues.

Modern Warfare 2 version 1.21 Patch Notes – July 12, 2023
Warzone 2 Season 4 Reloaded.
Introduction of Vondel for Battle Royale: This new map can host up to 72 players and offers a traditional Battle Royale experience with the same core mechanics like circle collapses, Loadout Drops, and limited lives.
New Gulag location: This season brings a new Gulag at Vondel Castle’s wine cellar and dungeon. It is designed as a three-lane map for 1v1 combat.
Additional Features: There are several new features being introduced this season. These include the Occupation Scan, the Signals Intelligence Contract, and the Portable Redeploy Drone. All are expected to be released within the Reloaded launch window.
Warzone Playlist Map Rotation in Resurgence: A map rotation system has been introduced for Resurgence modes only. The rotation includes Vondel and Ashika Island.
Occupation Scan: This in-match event, familiar to veterans, is coming to Vondel and will identify and mark all Operators who fail to hide.
Signals Intelligence Contract: This Contract, which originally appeared in DMZ, has been adapted for Battle Royale and Resurgence modes in Vondel.
Portable Redeploy Drone (P.R.D.): The P.R.D., familiar to Warzone veterans, allows a single operator to ascend above structures. However, it is unique to Vondel and not available in DMZ.
Changes in DMZ: New options for Plea for Help and new mechanics for Assimilation will be introduced in Season 04 Reloaded. Additionally, squads hunting other players might find themselves the target of a new Hunt Contract.
Introduction of RAID: Atomgrad Episode 04: This will conclude the Special Operations storyline in Modern Warfare II.
Vondel Waterfront Core Map for Multiplayer experiences: This new map for multiplayer is derived from the larger Warzone Vondel map. Some specific changes have been made to optimize 6v6 multiplayer action.
Ranked Play Season 04: The new season of ranked play is also introduced with plenty of time to complete the Battle Pass and reach the maximum Prestige Rank.
- Addressed an issue where players spectating their last alive squadmate who disconnects will then spectate their own previous position.
- Addition of the MX Guardian shotgun as a new weapon.
- Introduction of the Temp V field upgrade, granting random superpowers to players.
- Diabolical Camo Challenges, providing players with new camouflages for completing weapon-specific challenges.
- The Boys Operator Bundles, featuring Starlight, Homelander, and Black Noir as playable characters.
- Pro Pack 6: Graffiti Tactical bundle, including Operator Skin for Chuy, weapon blueprints, and additional cosmetic items.
- Whisker Tango bundle, offering two new Operator Skins, weapon blueprints, and cosmetic items.
- Reactive Pack: Soulless bundle, featuring a unique Operator Skin, reactive weapon blueprints, and other cosmetics.
- Introduction of the BlackCell bundle, providing access to the full Season 04 Battle Pass and exclusive content.
- Free Prime Gaming Bundle for Prime members.
- Overhauled LFP (Looking for Party) system, allowing players to find parties with similar preferences and playstyles.
MODERN WARFARE 2 1.21 PATCH NOTES
Special Operations RAID: Atomgrad Conclusion: This marks the end of Task Force 141’s special operations in Modern Warfare II. The story arc involves the discovery of a fortified Soviet-era fallout shelter controlled by Al-Qatala, a mission to find missing Task Force 141 members, and a final showdown with AQ asset Hadir.
New Multiplayer Map: Vondel Waterfront: This new map encourages stealthy tactics and has been optimized for 6v6 Multiplayer action. Operators can’t swim underneath houseboats and have to keep actions on “land”. The Ghost Perk, Dead Silence, Counter-UAVs, and suppressors are highly suggested for maintaining a low profile.
Ranked Play Season 04: Players are encouraged to complete the Battle Pass and reach the maximum Prestige Rank before the beginning of Season 05.
New Weapon – MX Guardian: A fully-automatic 12-gauge shotgun with rotating magazine tubes holding 5 shells each. It is unlocked via a new challenge in the Battle Pass and is designed to dish out damage up close.
MX Guardian Battle Pass Challenge: Players can unlock the MX Guardian by completing a new set of shotgun-related challenges in the Battle Pass.
Introduction of ‘Temp V’: A new Field Upgrade introduced in collaboration with “The Boys” TV show. Temp V grants one of four random superpowers upon consumption: Charge Jump, Electric Shockwave, Laser Vision, and Teleport.
New Character Skins: Skins from the TV show “The Boys” will be introduced.
Additional In-Store Content: New items, including Whisker Tango and two Tracer Packs, will be available in the in-game store. A free Prime Gaming Bundle will be available until July 20th.
New Strategies for Vondel Waterfront Map: Given that Operators can’t swim under houseboats, stealth is the key strategy. Using the Ghost Perk, Dead Silence, Counter-UAVs, and suppressors is recommended.
The Boys Are Ready to Run This Town: Temp V and Camo Challenges: Challenges related to the TV show “The Boys” and the new Temp V Field Upgrade are now available.
Addressed an issue where Players in some regions were unable to change the contents of a Loadout. This can be fixed with a restart.
