MLB The Show 26 update 1.002 (Game Update 2) is available to download on PS5, Nintendo Switch(v1.02) and Xbox Series X/S (v1.0.34). According to the official MLB The Show 26 1.002 patch notes, Pitch history now tracks up to 25 pitches, and Diamond Dynasty attribute bars extend to 125. Franchise trade logic prevents long-term or newly signed players from appearing on the trade block. Co-op, Mini Seasons, and Road to the Show also receive numerous bug fixes and improvements.   • Attribute bars in Diamond Dynasty now extend up to 125 where applicable.

  • Resolved an issue where the XP Path could become inaccessible.

  • Fixed multiple Mini Seasons logo issues.

  • Implemented various Collections bug fixes.

Franchise

  • Updated trade block logic so CPU teams will not list players if:

    • They have more than 5 years remaining on their contract, or

    • They were recently signed and are in year one of a 4+ year deal.

  • Fixed cursor temporarily disappearing in Trade Hub screens.

  • Resolved duplicate “Player No Longer in Organization” popups after trade alerts.

  • Added optimization and stability improvements.

Road To The Show

  • Fixed several dialog scene issues.

  • Corrected a post-game recap visual problem.

  • Adjusted rewards for Amateur and MLB Draft goals.

  • Fixed Season Goal Select text overlap.

  • Corrected a visual issue when downgrading mastered perks.

  • Fixed incorrect team logos on the interest map in high school and college.

  • Two-way players can now bat in the Futures Game.

  • Two-way players can now participate in the All-Star Game as Designated Hitter.

  • Fixed several goal evaluation issues.

  • Resolved an issue where some goals would not return if a dream college was not selected.

  • Position change requests now occur only through manager conversations.

  • Fixed pitchers occasionally missing their glove on the field.

  • Corrected mislabeled simulation value indicators on the tracking screen.

  • Fixed rare cases where stats and awards were unavailable during retirement.

  • Fixed dynamic difficulty not updating on offense.

Custom Leagues

  • Fixed an issue where Postseason games appeared for teams not in the Postseason.
