MLB The Show 24 update 1.08 (version 1.008) is available to download on PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch and Xbox. According to the official MLB The Show 24 1.08 patch notes, the latest update introduces new uniforms, fixes pitching issues in online play, and enhances franchise management with Rule 5 Draft improvements. Apart from this, today’s MLB the Show 24 patch 1.08 (1.008) also addresses bugs in stadium creation, storylines, custom leagues, and miscellaneous areas.
Recently, the MLB game update 4 added minor tweaks and changes. Unfortunately, since the release, some players are experiencing various issues with the game. Today’s MLB The Show 24 version 1.08 (1.008.000) will address a few of these issues.

MLB 24 Update 1.08 Patch Notes – May 8, 2024
GENERAL:
- Added Detroit Tigers City Connect uniform.
ONLINE HEAD-TO-HEAD:
- Fixed an issue where some players were tipping their pitches.
- Improved online stability for 1v1 and Co-Op matches.
FRANCHISE:
- Rule 5 eligible players on user-controlled team(s) will now be automatically selected for the Rule 5 Draft if not protected when setting a 40-man roster.
- Player cards will now accurately reflect Rule 5 draft eligibility.
STADIUM CREATOR:
- Resolved a bug that allowed incorrect placement of the batter’s eye on the field.
- Addressed various bugs related to Future City stadium props.
STORYLINES:
- Derek Jeter Storylines side missions will now provide the correct rewards.
CUSTOM LEAGUES:
- Fixed a bug causing an invalid roster error when attempting to randomize a winner.
- Team stats will now display correctly after completing a game.
MISCELLANEOUS:
- Fixed a bug preventing Jackie Robinson socks from changing after switching pant styles.
- Made various audio and presentation bug fixes and adjustments.
