Minecraft update 3.12 (Bedrock 1.21.81) is available to download on PS4, PC and Xbox One. According to the official Minecraft 3.12 patch notes, the latest MC update improves visuals, gameplay, and stability by fixing bugs in graphical effects, swimming slowdown, and crash scenarios. In addition, today’s Minecraft patch 3.12 also includes stability and performance improvements.

• Resolved pixelated distortion on certain iOS devices.

• Enhanced scripting API and leashable component functionality.

Graphical Fixes

Vibrant Visuals

• Fixed: Vibrant Visuals (Experimental) no longer applies to worlds that do not support the feature properly.

iOS Display

• Fixed: Pixelated distortion on specific iOS devices. (MCPE-218490)

Gameplay Fixes

Swimming Mechanics

• Fixed: Players no longer slow down excessively when hitting blocks while swimming. (MCPE-201832)

Performance and Stability

Crash Fixes

• Fixed: Crash when loading a world containing leashed entities.

API Fixes

Scripting Privileges

• Fixed: beforeOnPlayerPlace event in block custom components now uses read-only privilege.

• Note: Fix is applied only to V2.X.X and above scripting versions.

Component Fixes

Leashable Entities

• Fixed: "minecraft:leashable" values can now be updated at runtime through component groups.

• Fixed: "minecraft:leashable" presets now re-evaluated every tick instead of only on leash actions.

Previously, a big Minecraft update 2.99 introduced Hardcore mode, bundles for better inventory management, multiple accessibility enhancements, and numerous bug fixes. Unfortunately, players are still facing issues with the game. Today’s Minecraft PS4 update 3.12 will fix a few of these issues.
