Minecraft Update 3.05 Patch Notes for PS4 (Bedrock 1.21.60)

Minecraft update 3.05 (Bedrock 1.21.60) is available to download on PS4, PC and Xbox One. According to the official Minecraft 3.05 patch notes, the latest MC update brings exciting new features like two unique pig variants—Warm and Cold Pigs—that spawn in specific biomes, making the world feel more alive. Falling leaves from trees add a magical touch to forests, and crafting a Lodestone is now simpler, helping me find my way home with ease. In addition, today’s Minecraft patch 3.05 also includes bug fixes to improve mob behaviors, block interactions, and biome generation.

New Features

1. New Pig Variants
   Two new pig variants have been introduced: Warm Pig and Cold Pig. These pigs have unique textures and spawn in specific biomes, making the world feel more diverse.
   • Cold Pigs spawn in cold biomes such as:
     • Old Growth Pine Taiga
     • Old Growth Spruce Taiga
     • Taiga
     • Snowy Taiga
     • Windswept Hills
     • Windswept Gravelly Hills
     • Windswept Forest
   • Warm Pigs spawn in warm biomes such as:
     • Savanna
     • Savanna Plateau
     • Windswept Savanna
     • Jungle
     • Sparse Jungle
     • Bamboo Jungle
     • Eroded Badlands
     • Wooded Badlands
     • Badlands
   • Temperate Biomes (e.g., Forests, Swamps) will continue to spawn the original pig variant.
2. Falling Leaf Particles
   All leaf blocks now emit falling leaf particles, adding a more immersive and dynamic feel to forests.
   • Affected Leaf Blocks:
     • Oak Leaves
     • Jungle Leaves
     • Acacia Leaves
     • Dark Oak Leaves
     • Spruce Leaves
     • Mangrove Leaves
     • Birch Leaves
     • Azalea Leaves
     • Flowering Azalea Leaves
   • Unaffected Leaf Blocks:
     • Cherry Leaves and Pale Oak Leaves (already had this feature).
3. Simplified Lodestone Recipe
   The Lodestone crafting recipe has been simplified. It now requires 1 Iron Ingot surrounded by 8 Chiseled Stone Blocks.
   • The recipe unlocks when the player obtains either an Iron Ingot or a Lodestone.
   • Lodestones can now also be found as loot in Ruined Portals in both the Overworld and Nether.
