Minecraft version 2.98 is rolling out on PS4, Xbox One, Android, Switch and PC. According to the official Minecraft 2.98 patch notes, the latest update resolves several gameplay crashes. Apart from this, today’s Minecraft patch 2.98 also includes a fix where camera lags one frame behind after teleporting.
Previously, a big Minecraft update 2.87 added quality-of-life improvements and fixes. Unfortunately, since the last MC patch 2.73, players are still facing issues with the game. Today’s Minecraft PS4 update 2.98 will fix a few of these issues.

Minecraft 2.98 Patch Notes (Updated) – September 30, 2024
- Fixed several crashes that could occur during gameplay
- Fixed a crash that could occur when trading with Villagers using only the second slot.
- An issue where some commands did not recognize certain block or item names has been fixed
- Fixed an issue with transparent objects showing incorrect or missing textures on certain devices.
- Armor Stands will now stay on the ground and not enter one block lower each dimension change.
- Fixed several crashes that could occur during gameplay
- Camera no longer lags one frame behind after teleporting
