Minecraft Patch 2.74 Notes (Minecraft Version 2.74)

Mojang has released a new Minecraft patch 2.74 on PS4, PC and Xbox One. According to the official Minecraft 2.74 patch notes, the latest update resolves issues related to boats and improves the reliability of unlocking achievements. Apart from this, today’s Minecraft version 2.74 also resolves a bug that caused Pressure Plate’s deactivation delay to be inconsistent.

Previously, a big Minecraft update 2.63 added quality-of-life improvements and fixes. Unfortunately, since the last major Minecraft patch 2.64, players are still facing issues with the game. Today’s Minecraft PS4 update 2.74 will fix a few of these issues.

Minecraft Version 2.74 Patch Notes

Fixes:

  • Fixed “§” text modifiers overwriting text when next to a line break on iOS.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the keyboard to become unresponsive when placing multiple Signs successively.
  • Buttons and some other non-full blocks once again prevent Spiders and other mobs from spawning on them and on adjacent blocks.
  • Fixed purchased content not transferring to a Microsoft account when logging in for the first time
  • Improved the reliability of unlocking achievements on Nintendo Switch.
  • Boats now retain the ability to carry passengers when a world is upgraded to Trails & Tales.
  • Boats that were affected by this bug can once again carry passengers.
  • Fixed a bug that caused Pressure Plate’s deactivation delay to be inconsistent.

Known Issue:

  • You may experience a crash when a player dies while playing splitscreen multiplayer on PlayStation with the Immediate Respawn game rule enabled. This will be resolved in an upcoming update.
