Minecraft update 1.20.1 details released for PC, PS4, Xbox, and Switch. According to the official Minecraft 1.20.1 patch notes, the latest update resolves some critical issues found after the release of Minecraft 1.20. Additionally, the Minecraft patch 1.20.1 update also includes quality-of-life fixes and changes.
Previously, a big Microsoft update 1.19.10 added new changes and fixes to the game. Unfortunately, players are still facing issues with the game. Today’s Minecraft patch 1.20.1 will fix a few of these issues.

Minecraft 1.20.1 Patch Notes – June 9, 2023
Fixes:
- Improved the reliability of unlocking achievements on Nintendo Switch.
- Boats now retain the ability to carry passengers when a world is upgraded to Trails & Tales.
- Boats that were affected by this bug can once again carry passengers
- Fixed a bug that caused Pressure Plate’s deactivation delay to be inconsistent.
- Fixed a disk permissions-related crash.
- The realms invitation icon that appears on the realms button in the main menu is displayed incorrectly.
- Buttons in the “Add Realm” interface within the realms menu no longer render.
- Game softlocks after cancelling joining a server.
- Incorrect Protochunk#setStatus call on chunk generate.
