Minecraft Update 1.022 Patch Notes for PS5 (Version 1.022.000)

Minecraft update 1.022 (Bedrock 1.21.92) is rolling out on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. According to the official Minecraft 1.022 patch notes, the latest MC update improves multiplayer stability, refines projectile mechanics, and restores visual consistency across textures and item rendering. In addition, today’s Minecraft patch 1.022 (version 1.022.000) also includes performance improvements.

Gameplay Fixes

Split-Screen

  • Fixed an issue causing split-screen players on Xbox to appear as Guests (MCPE-222048)

  • Resolved disconnection when adding split-screen players to multiplayer worlds


Projectile Updates

Tolerance Margin Behavior

  • Projectile tolerance margin now increases based on total active time in the world (MCPE-220496)

  • Previous expansion based only on flight ticks is replaced with time-based increments regardless of motion state


Technical Updates

Items

  • Fixed rendering issues for items smaller than 16 pixels in width or height

Graphical

  • Custom skyboxes now render correctly on non-Vibrant Visuals settings (MCPE-221318)

Mobs

  • Restored functionality for parsing entity definition files with null components

Previously, a big Minecraft update 2.87 added quality-of-life improvements and fixes. Unfortunately, since the last MC patch 2.73, players are still facing issues with the game. Today’s Minecraft version 1.022.000 will fix a few of these issues.
