Minecraft update 1.017 (Bedrock 1.21.72) is available to download on PS5. According to the official Minecraft 1.017 patch notes, the latest update fixes crashes, corrects Sea Pickle placement, prevents renamed books from becoming blank, and stabilizes player positioning during server lag. In addition, today’s Minecraft patch 1.017 (version 1.017.000) also includes stability fixes.

Player Location: Addressed an issue causing players’ positions to rewind significantly after long server stalls.

Fixed multiple crashes that occurred during gameplay sessions.
Previously, a big Minecraft update 2.87 added quality-of-life improvements and fixes. Unfortunately, since the last MC patch 2.73, players are still facing issues with the game. Today’s Minecraft version 1.017.000 will fix a few of these issues.
