Minecraft update 1.006 (Bedrock 1.21.41) is rolling out on PS5. According to the official Minecraft 1.006 patch notes, the latest update resolve issues related to the game mode and biome bugs. Apart from this, today’s Minecraft patch 1.005 (version 1.006.000) also fixes biome errors from older chunks.

Realms
- Fixed: Game mode and difficulty now correctly preserved when uploading or replacing a world in a Realms Slot.
- Fixed: Hardcore worlds now function properly in Realms, regardless of the previous world type.
Biomes
- Fixed: Chunks generated before version 1.17.40 no longer incorrectly behave as Ocean biomes, fixing ocean-like fog, sky color, and mob spawning issues.
Previously, a big Minecraft update 2.87 added quality-of-life improvements and fixes. Unfortunately, since the last MC patch 2.73, players are still facing issues with the game. Today’s Minecraft version 1.006.000 will fix a few of these issues.
