Experimental Features Simplified: What’s New and What’s Changing

Villager Trade Rebalancing

This feature doesn’t affect your regular worlds. To test it, activate the Feature Toggle in the Experiments Menu when you create a new world. We’re tweaking villager trades based on your feedback. These changes aren’t final; they’re still in the experimental phase. Want to share your thoughts? Follow this link. We’re keen on hearing more from you, especially after the recent Librarian and Wandering Trader updates.

Cartographer Updates

Cartographers used to sell just two types of maps: Ocean Monument and Woodland Mansion. Now they offer seven more, each leading to a different village or structure. This helps you find specific locations faster. Different biome cartographers will sell different maps. So, you can hop from one village to another using these maps.

New Maps Available:

  • Desert Village
  • Jungle Explorer
  • Plains Village
  • Savanna Village
  • Snow Village
  • Swamp Explorer
  • Taiga Village

Armorer Overhaul

Buying diamond armor from Armorers now costs both Diamonds and Emeralds. This change aims to balance early and late-game advantages. New players will find Armorers useful for iron armor, Shields, and Emeralds.
