    MechWarrior Online December 14 Update Patch Notes

    MechWarrior Online update is now available to download on PS4, PC, and PS5. According to the official MWO patch notes, the latest update brings new changes, fixes, and more.

    Previously, a major update was released with various quality of life fixes. Unfortunately, since the release, some players are experiencing problems with the game.

    Today’s MechWarrior Online patch will fix a few of these issues. Check out more details below.

    MW5 Patch Notes – December 14, 2021

    NEW MAP: HELLBORE OUTPOST
    Hellbore Outpost is a new Quick Play map, based on the biome from the Faction Play map Hellbore Springs. Outpost was designed from the ground-up by Francois, and represents the first completely new map to MWO in years.

    WEAPON ADJUSTMENT
    As a continuation of our assessment of weapon performance, the following change has been made:
    Clan ER Large Laser:
    • Heat increased to 10 (from 9.5)
     
     
    EQUIPMENT ADJUSTMENT
    This patch includes a small boost to the dissipation performance of single heat sinks. The aim for this change is to make single heat sinks into valid options for number of mechs and build configurations.
     
    Single Heat Sink:
    • Dissipation increased to -0.15 heat per second (from -0.14)
    • Heat capacity increased to 0.85 per external single heat sink (from 0.75) *
    Note: the initial 10 single heatsinks on a mech provide 2.25 capacity (including both external and engine)
     
     
    ‘MECH QUIRKS
    This patch includes the fifth quirk pass for a number of mechs, and adjusted quirks for previous passes.

    All Variants:
    • Reduced CT armor bonus to +7 (from +10)
    MLX-Prime:
    • Added 25% missile ammo boost per ton on LT
    MLX-G:
    • Reduced RT armor to +5 (from +7)
    MLX-ED:
    • Reduced RT armor to +5 (from +7)
    • Added 25% missile ammo boost per ton on LT
    Javelin
    JVN-11F:
    • Added 20% MG RoF
    • Added 10% range
    • Added 100% LMG/MG/HMG ammo per ton
    Spider
    SDR-5D:
    • Converted -5% Laser heat to -10% Heat
    Jenner
    JR7-K:
    • Added LPPC HSL +1
    Raven
    RVN-2X:
    • Added 10% range

    All Variants:
    • Increased CT armor bonus to +15 (from +10)

    • Marauder II-AL: Torso max pitch angle has been changed to 25 degrees to match the intended value consistent with the rest of Marauder II variants
