Insomniac Games has released Spiderman 2 update 1.004 (version 1.004.000) on PlayStation 5. According to the official Spiderman 2 1.004 patch notes, the latest update brings support for the PlayStation Pro with new graphics modes (Performance Pro and Fidelity Pro). Apart from this, Spiderman 2 patch 1.004 also optimizeds ray-tracing and frame rate options to PlayStation 5 Pro, along with fine-tunable graphical toggles for shadows, reflections, and ambient occlusion for enhanced visual realism.

- Availability: Exclusive to Fidelity Pro.

RT Reflections & Interiors
- Settings:
- Medium (Performance): Renders ray-traced reflections and interiors at half resolution.
- High (Fidelity): Renders at full resolution, increasing reflection clarity and animation smoothness.

RT Ambient Occlusion
- Settings:
