Insomniac Games has released Spider-man 2 update 1.305 (Patch 4) on PC(Steam). According to the official Spiderman 2 patch notes, the latest update 4 enhances performance and visual quality while addressing multiple ray tracing and UI-related issues. Apart from this, Spider-man 2 patch 1.305 also optimizes CPU and GPU performance, especially with ray tracing.

Performance & Stability Improvements
- Optimized CPU and GPU performance, especially with ray tracing.
- Improved performance in areas with sand.
- Enhanced map navigation performance.
- Fixed a crash when quitting the game quickly after starting.
- Resolved a crash on quad-core processors when enabling ray tracing.
Visual & Ray Tracing Fixes
- Addressed a bug where mission trails would not appear on first playthrough.
- Fixed ray-traced shadows of Symbiote Nests persisting after clearing them.
- Resolved an issue where ray-traced shadows caused excessive lighting.
- Fixed ray-traced reflections making characters appear darker with XeGTAO ambient occlusion.
- Various fixes for ray-traced reflections, ambient occlusion, and shadows.
Settings & UI Fixes
- Brightness, contrast, and visual effects settings no longer reset on restart or time-of-day change.
- Fixed a mouse bug causing it to get stuck in a dragging state when using a scroll bar.
- The [Space] input in ‘Press [Space] to continue’ now correctly displays instead of the mapped Jump key.
- Various user interface bug fixes and improvements.
Previously, a major Spider-Man 2 update 1.31added support for the PlayStation Pro with new graphics modes (Performance Pro and Fidelity Pro).
