Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 PC Update 1.218 Patch Notes (Patch 3)

Insomniac Games has released Spider-man 2 update 1.218 (Patch 3) on PC(Steam). According to the official Spiderman 2 1.218.0 patch notes, the latest update 3 enhances stability, visuals, and gameplay with fixes for cinematics on ultra-wide monitors, reflections, ray-traced shadows, and textures. Apart from this, Spider-man 2 patch 1.218 also fixes auto-scrolling in the Suits menu, while a Quick Time Event issue and a crash in ‘Graffiti in Trouble’.

Technical Updates

• NVIDIA Streamline SDK updated to version 2.7.2.

Visual Fixes

• Fixed various cinematic visual bugs on ultra-wide monitors.
• Addressed reflection-related visual issues.
• Fixed ray-traced shadow rendering bugs.
• Improved low-quality texture assets.

User Interface Improvements

• Fixed various UI bugs and general improvements.
• When opening the Suits menu, the list now auto-scrolls to the selected suit.

Gameplay Fixes

• ‘Pull’ Quick Time Events now function properly when Space or Left Mouse Button is assigned to Jump or Dodge.
• Fixed a crash in ‘Graffiti in Trouble’ when the text language is set to Spanish.

Stability & Optimization

• Various stability improvements and performance optimizations.

Previously, a major Spider-Man 2 update 1.31 added support for the PlayStation Pro with new graphics modes (Performance Pro and Fidelity Pro).
