Marvel Rivals update 1.000.081 (v1.44) is available to download on PS5. According to the official patch notes, the latest Marvel update adds Black Cat alongside a new event that grants a free Mantis costume through mission progress. Duel mode customization expands with new role and mirror options, while esports features now allow reticle previews and copying. In addition, Marvel Rivals patch 1.000.081 also includes several cosmetic bundles, Twitch Drops, and chat and visual fixes.

Fixes and Optimizations
Clobberin’ Club
- Duel invitations can now be sent directly from the Player menu within the Times Square chat channel.
- New Duel rule added: Assign Selectable Roles for customized hero role selection.
- Random mode updated with Mirror Type options: Full Mirror, Role Mirror, and No Mirror.
- Private Duels can now be started while searching for matches and will end automatically once matchmaking completes.
- New queue information guide screen added at the Clobberin’ Club entrance.
All Platforms
- Player profile pages now display visual crosshair effects used by professional players.
- Players can copy favorite reticle visuals directly from supported profiles.
Other Fixes
- Resolved an issue causing incorrect eyebrow visuals on the Mantis – Oceanic Harmony costume.
- Fixed a problem where special characters in chat messages could appear incorrectly.
