Bungie has released a new Marathon update 1.022 (version 1.022.000) on PS5 and PC. According to the official Marathon update 1.1.0.3 patch notes, the latest update fixes Compiler Ganglion barter availability, corrects KKV-9SD firing interruptions, and restores proper Reverb spawning in Dire Marsh (Night). Additionally, Marathon patch 1.022 removes unintended Solo queue access in Ranked, and allows the Cryo Archive sponsored kit to be used in its intended zone.

Item Economy
- Fixed an issue preventing barter options from appearing for the Compiler Ganglion.
- Swapped Arachne and Sekiguchi VIP upgrade costs, allowing Synapse Cubes to be used for specific upgrades instead of prestige salvage.
- Updated MIDA’s final Capstone to grant ANTI_VIRUS.EXE, providing 2 minutes of Anti-Virus protection at the start of a run.
- Removed the previous Cardio Kick reward, which did not stack with the Dexterity track perk.
Combat
- Fixed an issue causing the KKV-9SD to stop firing while the trigger was held on certain controllers.
User Interface and Experience
- Fixed an issue where stickers did not display correctly on the Retro_Remix WSTR Shotgun style.
Zones
Perimeter
- Fixed an issue that allowed Solo queue to be selected in Ranked matches.
- Ranked matchmaking now correctly follows the intended format, with crews of all sizes entering the same match pool.
Dire Marsh (Night)
- Fixed an issue preventing Reverbs from spawning consistently in standard Night Marsh.
Cryo Archive
- Fixed an issue where the Cryo Archive sponsored kit could not be taken into Cryo Archive.
Stability
- Addressed several server stability issues.
Recently, the Marathon update 1.005 added quality of life changes. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing several issues while playing the game. Today’s Marathon update 1.1.0.3 will fix a few of these issues.
