Marathon Update 1.010 Patch Notes (v1.0.5.2) for PS5 and PC

Bungie has released a new Marathon update 1.010 on PS5 and PC. According to the official Marathon update 1.0.5.2 patch notes, the latest update focuses on movement balance, contract reliability, and zone improvements. Several crashes, performance issues, and UI problems were resolved to stabilize gameplay. Apart from this, Marathon patch 1.010 also refines loot rewards and encounter tuning in key locations.

Runner Shells

• Corrected objective points appearing on the map for all Runners during RUN/HIDE

Zones

Dire Marsh

• Fixed Anomalous waypoint activity appearing below the map when inactive

Outpost

• Adjusted Tox Warden combat area to reduce excessive hiding spots
• Updated Tox plants to properly react to player presence
• Fixed final exfil spawning in the same location every match

Pinwheel

• Reopened Destroyed Wing entrance
• Improved overall loot quality from loose items and small containers
• Updated encounters to better match reward value
• Changed security credentials required for Hub locked room access
• Added bulletproof glass to the Hub room

Cryo Archive

• Fixed Vault 6 geometry that allowed fatal falls

Armory

• Resolved crash when opening the Armory
• Fixed low framerate issue on tabs with large item counts

Codex

• Corrected Ranked Challenges order so Platinum appears before Diamond
• Fixed Requiem for a Cyborg challenge progression for all crew members after a successful Compiler kill

UI and UX

Keybinds

• ESC key now exits the keybinding menu instead of closing settings
• Added option to clear keybinds in the settings menu
• Noted display issue for non-English languages showing the setting as blank

Text Chat

• Fixed temporary loss of control after using an IME keyboard during a run

Localization

• Resolved issue causing certain Codex entries to appear blank in Chinese

Recently, the Marathon update 1.005 added quality of life changes. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing several issues while playing the game. Today’s Marathon update 1.0.5.2 will fix a few of these issues.
