Marathon PS5 Update 1.015 Patch Notes (PC v1.0.6.3)

Bungie has released a new Marathon update 1.015 (v1.0.6.3) on PS5 and PC. According to the official Marathon update 1.0.6.3 patch notes, the latest update expands Prestige Salvage rewards, reduces grenade carrying capacity, and improves C.A.R.R.I. economy systems with better drops and weekly resets.

Additionally, Marathon patch 1.015 also fixes extraction issues in Dire Marsh, corrects HUD errors, and adjusts Ranked access tiers to broaden matchmaking options.

Update 1.0.6.3 Highlights

• Prestige Salvage added to select map events and increased C.A.R.R.I. crate rewards
• Grenade stack sizes reduced, limiting combat carry capacity
• Weekly refresh added to C.A.R.R.I. offers with stock adjustments
• Fixes applied to Dire Marsh extraction and HUD elimination display
• Ranked entry requirements updated for Gold and Platinum Holotags

Item Economy

• Dire Marsh Lockdown, Perimeter Intercept, and Outpost Convoy events can now reward Prestige Salvage

Armory

• Resolved issue allowing Hurting Hands V4 to be claimed multiple times for free

C.A.R.R.I Armory

• Increased salvage amounts from Deluxe C.A.R.R.I. Salvage Crates across all rarities
• Fixed missing C.A.R.R.I. weapons when matching an active voucher offer
• All C.A.R.R.I. offers now refresh weekly
• Superior Key Template weekly stock reset capped at 1 (does not affect starting or excess stock)

Combat

• Grenades
• EMP, Chem, Frag, Heat, and Flechette grenades stack size reduced to 1
• Claymore stack size reduced to 2
• Rooks and Sponsored Kits now receive 2 Claymores instead of 3
• Proximity Sensors, Smoke Grenades, and Ammo Crates unchanged at stack size 3
• Ammo crate barter limit reduced from 10 to 3 per day
• Weapons
• Stryder M1T Prestige Precision Optic now properly differentiates UESC and enemy Runners

User Interface and Experience

• Fixed incorrect runner elimination displays on the HUD

Contracts

• Tier 3 Contracts now always show Enhanced Salvage as the base reward when multiple salvage types are possible

Zones

• Cryo Archive updated with secure vents to reduce spawn rushing in Cargo and Index
• Dire Marsh final extraction spawn issue resolved

Ranked

• Gold Holotags can now access High Stakes
• Platinum Holotags can now access Low Stakes

Platforms – PS5

• Fixed issue preventing players from joining crews via invite when privacy is set to invite-only

Recently, the Marathon update 1.005 added quality of life changes. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing several issues while playing the game. Today’s Marathon update 1.0.6.3 will fix a few of these issues.
