Madden 25 update 1.007 is now available to download on PS5, and Xbox Series X. According to the official Madden 25 1.007 patch notes, the latest update addresses key gameplay issues, including speed boost exploits, zone coverage behavior, and control switching in Squads mode. Apart from this, Madden NFL 25 version 1.007 also improves overall balance and playability.

Gameplay Fixes
Smart Routed Custom Stems:
- Resolved an issue where Smart Routed Custom Stems provided an unintended speed boost off the line at the snap.
QB Rollout Speed Boost:
- Tuned and decreased the effectiveness of an exploit allowing quarterbacks to gain an unfair speed boost during rollouts.
Curl Flat Zone Adjustments:
- Fixed an issue that prevented the Curl Flat zone depth coach adjustment from working properly when set below 15 yards.
Defensive Adjustments
Curl Flat Defender Behavior:
- Addressed an issue where Curl Flat defenders drifted away from eligible receiving threats in close proximity.
Deep Third Defenders:
- Corrected positioning issues where outside Deep Third defenders would either get out of position or provide too much cushion when covering corner routes.
Squads Mode Fix
QB Control Switch:
- Resolved an issue in Squads where QB control would mistakenly switch to a teammate at the snap.
