Lords of the Fallen update 1.071 (2.0.9) is rolling out on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S. According to the official Lords of the Fallen 1.071 patch notes, the latest update upgrades UI clarity and boosts the effectiveness of the Mirror of Protection.
Additionally, Lords of the Fallen version 1.071.000 also resolves bugs related to item behavior, invader ghosts, corrupted Runes, and language display.

Stability & Performance
- Fixed multiple issues that were causing client crashes.
- Improved multiplayer stability by reducing crashes and disconnection rates.
Gameplay Adjustments

Mirror of Protection (from Dunmire or Stomund at Skyrest Bridge) now more effectively prevents Crimson Rituals (player invasions).
UI & UX Improvements

Improved readability of Vestige menus.

Fixed various UI issues affecting gameplay clarity.
World & Item State Fixes

Resolved an issue where certain items would float mid-air instead of reacting to world state changes (e.g. after water drainage).
Multiplayer & Co-op Fixes

Fixed an issue where, after defeating an invader, players could still see the invader’s ghost and were wrongly prompted to revive them.

Addressed a bug causing Runes to get corrupted during multiplayer sessions.
Localization

Corrected an issue where localized lines were not showing properly in some languages.
Recently, Lords of the Fallen patch 1.017 added over 100 enhancements, including performance improvements, co-op and PVP gameplay tweaks. Unfortunately, players have been experiencing various issues with the game since the last major update. Today’s LOTF update 1.071 will address a few of these issues.
