Lords of the Fallen patch 1.029 (1.1.474) is available to download on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S. According to the official Lords of the Fallen 1.029.000 patch notes, the latest update introduces two significant features: Gamepad Rebinding and Backup Saves. Apart from this, Lords of the Fallen version 1.029 also brings optimizations and bug fixes to enhance gameplay experience.
Recently, Lords of the Fallen patch 1.017 added over 100 enhancements that include performance improvements, co-op and PVP gameplay tweaks. Unfortunately, since the last major update, players have been experiencing various issues with the game. Today’s LOTF update 1.029.000 will address a few of these issues.

Lords of the Fallen 1.029 Patch Notes (1.1.474) – February 1, 2024
- Gamepad Rebinding Feature:
- Players can now fully customize gamepad controls, allowing them to assign actions to preferred buttons according to their playstyle.
- Enables players to tailor controls for actions like heavy attacks, dodging, etc., offering greater accessibility and flexibility.
- Backup Saves System:
- Automatic backup save slots have been introduced, providing protection against corrupted save data.
- The game saves progress to three designated slots, cycling through them during gameplay to ensure data integrity.
- In case of corrupted save files, the game automatically reverts to a healthy save slot without requiring player intervention.
- Optimization Pass:
- Focus on optimizing player character animations, damage feedback, and level streaming to enhance overall performance.
- Multiplayer Fixes:
- Several multiplayer issues addressed, including Umbral platform behavior, picking up Vigor, teleportation glitches, and character visibility.
- Collision Fixes:
- Various collision issues resolved, preventing players from getting stuck or accessing unintended areas in the game world.
- Level Design Improvements:
- Fixes implemented to environmental traversal, water hazards, and camera clipping issues across different game areas.
- UI and Other Fixes:
- UI issues related to rune movement and game restart options addressed.
- Various other fixes including audio, visual, and gameplay issues resolved.
