[The King of Fighters] KOF 15 update 2.41 is available to download on PS4, PC and PS5. According to the official KOF XV 2.41patch notes, the latest update brings significant adjustments to character balancing, gameplay tweaks, and quality-of-life improvements. With a range of system-level changes, updates to training and DJ Station modes, and numerous character-specific fixes, this patch refines the competitive experience for players. In addition, the latest KOFXV patch 2.41 (2.004.001) also includes bug fixes and improvements.
Previously, a major KOF patch 2.10 a new DLC Characters DUO LON and various balancing changes. Unfortunately, some players are still facing issues when trying to play the game. Today’s KOF15 update 2.41 will fix a few of these issues.

SYSTEM CHANGES
- Trials:
- Adjustments made to certain trials to reflect character balance changes.
- Completed same-level trials remain marked as complete despite changes.
- DJ Station:
- Added “Stormy Saxophone 2 – KOF XV ver.” to the THE KING OF FIGHTERS XV album.
- Training Mode – Guard:
- Resolved an issue where the opponent failed to block low in specific scenarios when set to “Guard 1st Hit Only.”
- Bug Fixes:
- Addressed several minor gameplay issues.
GENERAL ADJUSTMENTS
- Jumping Blow Back:
- Altered opponent behavior on counter hit for improved consistency.
- Jump Attacks:
- Fixed an issue where certain characters could cancel recovery into Special Moves after landing from a jump.
CHARACTER-SPECIFIC CHANGES
SHUN’EI
- Crouching HP: Now only cancelable into forward jumps on hit.
- Rising Efreet (HP & EX): Adjusted opponent behavior on hit.
- Scarlet Phantom (LP): Modified opponent behavior upon hit.
- Gaianic Burst (Normal & MAX): Damage increased from 180 → 200 (Normal) and 330 → 350 (MAX).
- Specter Extension: Opponent behavior adjusted on hit.
MEITENKUN
- Close Standing LK: Reduced knockback distance on hit/block.
- Far Standing HP: Now cancelable into Command Moves.
- Geki Hou (HP): Altered hit behavior for Level 3.
- Ressen Kyaku (EX): Resolved issue with first hit not causing hard knockdown. Reduced knockback distance on block and recovery frames.
BENIMARU NIKAIDO
- Close Standing LP: Increased recovery frames and reduced knockback distance. Adjusted pushbox to limit separation at close range.
- Close Standing HK: Expanded proximity recognition and hitbox.
- Jackknife Kick: Hitbox expanded to ensure hits connect during in-hit states.
- Raijinken (HP): Hitbox expansion and timing adjustment for Super Cancels.
- Air Raijinken (EX): Removed height restriction, adjusted startup positioning, and altered opponent behavior on hit.
ISLA
- Jumping HP: Start-up increased from 7F → 9F.
- Cloud: Expanded attack hitbox and downward pushbox.
- Fill-In (LP): Increased active frames, connecting only during a hit state.
DOLORES
- Close Standing LK: Reduced knockback on hit/block.
- Qafas Khalfi (EX): Fixed inconsistency in pulling distance on hit.
- Nesh (HK): Hitbox expanded for second hit.
HEIDERN
- Crouching LP: Start-up increased from 5F → 6F.
- Moon Slasher (HP): Adjusted to feature anti-air invulnerability.
- Assault Saber: Now capable of landing behind opponents in corners.
- Heidern End (Normal): Opponent’s downed duration increased.
Kyo Kusanagi
- Jumping (Normal/Hyper): Reduced all frames for faster air movement and better follow-ups.
- Ge-Shiki・Gofu Yo (Cancel Ver.): Damage increased from 35 to 50.
- 212 Shiki・Kototsuki Yo (Normal Ver.): Super Cancel input window expanded.
- 114 Shiki・Aragami: Expanded attack hitbox, now more effective against opponents in a hit state.
Iori Yagami
- Close Standing LK: Can now Rapid Cancel into moves other than Standing LK, increasing combo versatility.
- Crouching LP: Start-up reduced from 6F to 5F, allowing faster pokes.
- 127 Shiki・Aoihana Series (HP/EX Ver.): Adjustments made to aerial hit behavior for improved juggle potential.
- 127 Shiki・Aoihana3 (HP Ver.): Damage increased from 65 to 85.
- 212 Shiki・Kototsuki In (HK Ver.): Damage on the second hit reduced from 100 to 70, affecting total combo output.
Chizuru Kagura
- Jo Katsu Cang Cang (Normal Ver.): Damage reduced from 60 to 40 for better scaling in combos.
- 212 Katsu Shinsoku no Norito Ten Zui (LP + HP Ver.):
- Damage increased from 40 to 80.
- Altered air hit behavior on the second hit.
- Command input window expanded.
- 212 Katsu Shinsoku no Norito Ten Zui (LK + HK Ver.): Now causes a hard knockdown, enhancing setup options.
- Uramen Special Moves: Can now perform non-clone specials mid-combo; resolved KO bug on final hit.
Ash Crimson
- Close Standing LP: Now cancelable into Command Moves.
- Floreal: Added a new input option, now performable with → + LK.
- Ventose (EX Ver.): Adjusted behavior of the second projectile hit for improved consistency.
Elisabeth Blanctorche
- Close Standing LP: Start-up reduced from 5F to 4F for quicker execution.
- Étincelle (LP Ver.): Start-up reduced from 28F to 26F, with increased hitstop for more reliable pressure.
- Étincelle (Normal Ver.): Removed multi-hit properties during combos for optimized scaling.
Kukri
- Far Standing LK: Can now cancel into Special Moves and above.
- Nessa Senpuu (EX Ver.): Air hit behavior adjusted for better juggling; fourth hit now connects if the third does.
- Air・Bossa-Shougeki (HK Ver.):
- Damage increased from 80 to 120.
- Expanded downward pushbox.
- Start-up reduced from 35F to 32F.
Krohnen
- Far Standing HP: Now cancelable until the final hit for more combo opportunities.
- Far Standing HK: Start-up reduced from 10F to 8F for quicker poking.
- Spiral Smash: Reduced combo scaling value for higher damage in longer strings.
- Fusion Blaster (MAX Ver.) & Calamity Overdrive: Expanded hitboxes upwards for more consistent air connections.
Kula Diamond
- Close Standing HK: Recovery frames reduced for better neutral performance.
- Ray Spin (HK Ver.): Adjusted hit behavior and increased cancel window for follow-ups.
- Ray Spin (Stand): Hitbox expanded, enhancing mid-screen utility.
Ángel
- Heavy Knee Attack: Active frames increased for better hit reliability.
- Unchain・Step (Normal Ver.):
- Now cancelable into Mad Murder (Normal Ver.).
- Added an LK version for enhanced mix-up options.
Yashiro Nanakase
- Upper Duel (EX Ver.): Fixed a bug allowing opponents to interrupt during start-up under certain conditions.
- Jet Counter Series (LP/HP/EX Ver.):
- Adjusted hitboxes and knockback properties for fairer interactions.
- Sledgehammer: Pushbox expanded downward for consistent ground-to-air transitions.
Shermie
- Shermie Whip (EX Ver.): Hitbox expanded to improve its range and utility.
- Shermie Shock: Increased recovery frames on whiff to balance risk-reward dynamics.
