KOF 15 Update 1.92 Patch Notes (The King of Fighters 1.92)

The King of Fighters (KOF 15) update 1.92 is rolling out on PS4, PC and PS5. According to the official KOF XV 1.92 patch notes, the latest update adds Goenitz and Cross-Platform functionality. In addition, the latest KOFXV patch 1.92 also includes stability fixes.

Previously, a major KOF patch 1.60 a new DLC Characters Samurai Team. Recently, a hotfix 1.63 added minor tweaks and fixes. Unfortunately, some players are still facing issues when trying to play the game. Today’s KOF15 update 1.92 will fix a few of these issues.

KOF15 Update 1.92 Patch Notes – June 20, 2023

SYSTEM

1. New Characters Added: Goenitz.

1. Cross-Platform Functionality:
   • PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4: Cross-Play
   • Xbox Series X|S, Windows10: Cross-Network
   • Steam, Epic Games: Cross-Platform
2. KOFID:
   • Players need to create a KOFID for cross-platform functionality.
   • KOFIDs are visible to other players.
   • KOFIDs are alphanumeric with a maximum of 13 characters and certain symbols.
   • KOFIDs cannot be changed after creation.
3. Cross-Platform Support Toggle:
   • Added a toggle (ON/OFF) for cross-platform support.
   • The toggle icon appears in the top-right corner of the Main Menu screen.
   • Cross-platform support is ON by default.
   • Options: Cross-platform support is ON, Cross-platform support is OFF, Offline.

Cross-Platform Matchmaking

1. Ranked Match, Casual Match:
   • Cross-Platform: ON – Matched with users on any platform.
   • Cross-Platform: OFF – Matched with users on the same platform.
   • Matching can occur even if the other user (on the same platform) has Cross-Platform set to ON.
2. Room Match, Online Training:
   • Cross-Platform: ON – Matched with users on any platform.
   • Cross-Platform: OFF – Hosting a room allows any user on the same platform to enter.
   • Joining a room as a guest requires the room creator to be on the same platform with Cross-Platform set to OFF.
3. Invite From Follow List:
   • Added the ability to invite users to Room Matches and Online Training from Follow Lists.

THE KING OF FIGHTERS XV Patch Ver.1.92

1. Cross-Platform ON/OFF Block:
   • Added the ability to block other users from online profiles.
   • Blocking a user results in no Follow List invites and no visibility of their custom text.
   • Blocking does not prevent matching with blocked players.
2. Report:
   • Added the ability to report other users from online profiles.
   • SNK will address reports sequentially but cannot guarantee action on every report.
   • SNK cannot reply to individual cases.
3. Leaderboards:
   • Cross-Platform ON: Ranked Match leaderboards show ranking among all platforms.
   • Cross-Platform OFF: Leaderboards show ranking only among players on the same platform.
   • Platform icons added next to player names indicating the platform they are on.

MISSION

1. Goenitz Added to Boss Challenge Mode:
   • Completion Rewards: BGM, Goenitz Alternate Costume, Title.
2. Resolved an issue with Kukri’s Level 3 trial that prevented proper completion.

DJ STATION

1. Added “Gusty Wind” to THE KING OF FIGHTERS XV album.

Other

1. Resolved minor UI-related issues.
2. Resolved minor character graphics-related issues.

1. Jumping Blow Back:
   • Raised input priority to reduce accidental midair specials.

ASH CRIMSON

1. Floreal, Floreal (backwards), Floreal・Instant:
   • Resolved an issue where opponents couldn’t block the move at certain distances and walked backward instead.

KULA DIAMOND

1. Falling Snowman (Normal/EX Ver.):
   • Resolved an issue where opponents couldn’t block the move at certain distances and walked backward instead.

MAI SHIRANUI

1. Koukaku no Mai (Normal Ver.):
   • Resolved an issue where opponents couldn’t block the move at certain distances and walked backward instead.

SYLVIE PAULA PAULA

1. Color 4 (Normal Costume):
   • Resolved an issue where Sylvie’s skin color would change upon MAX Activation under certain circumstances.
2. Crouching LK:
   • Resolved an issue where it would hit in-air opponents.
3. Super Magnetic-Pop! (Normal/EX Ver.):
   • Resolved an issue where it would hit in-air opponents in a hit state during a certain window.
