Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 update 1.022 (Patch 1.2.2) is now rolling out on PlayStation 5, PC and Xbox Series X/S. According to the official KCD2 1.22 patch notes, the latest update resolves issues with rented rooms, UI improvements, quest item persistence, and platform-specific bugs for PlayStation 5 and PC. In addition, KCD2 update 1.022 also includes stability fixes.
KCD2 1.022 patch notes – March 20, 2025

Room Renting
- Fixed an issue where players were still considered trespassing in rented rooms after leaving and reloading the map.
User Interface
- Removed the New Game option from the in-game pause menu to prevent accidental overwrites. A more refined solution will be added in a future update.
Quests – Into the Underworld
- Fixed an issue where Goatskin would disappear when loading a save from version 1.1.X after updating to 1.2.
Platform-Specific Fixes
PlayStation 5
- Fixed visual artifacts appearing in Performance Mode.
PC
- Fixed an issue where closing the barber overlay with a mouse would break the main menu.
