Jurassic World Evolution 2 update 1.26 is rolling out on PS4, PC and Xbox. According to the official JWE 2 update 1.26 patch notes, the latest update brings bug fixes including stable lagoon structures and dinosaur behavior, and addresses issues with missions, alongside improved animations and stability. Apart from this, Jurassic World Evolution 2 patch 1.26 also enhances the Prehistoric Marine Species Pack, allowing Nothosaurus to coexist with Archelon on Lagoon Rock Platforms.
Previously, a major patch 1.21 added Species Pack offering up 4 new prehistoric species: Yutyrannus, Deinocheirus, Sinosauropteryx and Jeholopterus. Unfortunately, players are facing various bugs with the game. Today’s Jurassic World Evolution 2 version 1.26 will fix a few of these issues.

JWE 2 Update 1.26 Patch Notes – August 31, 2023
Bug Fixes:
- Lagoon Viewing Domes and Lagoon Rock Platforms no longer float on the surface of Lagoons after loading a save. Players with this issue need to save and reload their game to resolve it.
- Hunting packs of dinosaurs no longer panic after attacking and taking down another dinosaur.
- Fixed certain cases of dinosaurs disliking their own species.
- Added the research required to counter the “Fussy” trait in Sandbox or Custom Challenge Mode.
- “Building Style” and “Staff and Guests” category details are no longer switched in the Custom Challenge Mode set-up.
- Genome Modification Limits are now applied as intended in Custom Challenge mode.
- Fixed an instance where all missions would vanish during Chaos Theory: Jurassic Park’s introduction dialogue.
Prehistoric Marine Species Pack: 8. Nothosaurus has found her courage and should no longer panic when seeing the Archelon. This will also allow Nothosaurus to use Lagoon Rock Platforms alongside Archelon.
Misc: 9. Various stability fixes. 10. Various animation fixes.
