How to Fix SF6 Server Connectivity Issue?
Be sure to allow any updates to install completely before you begin.
Restarting your router
- This is often the easiest and quickest way to resolve connectivity issues.
- When you restart your router, it flushes its memory and starts over fresh. This can often fix problems caused by software glitches or temporary network congestion.
- To restart your router, unplug it from the power outlet for 30 seconds. Then, plug it back in and wait for it to boot up.
Checking for updates
- Make sure that your router, modem, and gaming console are all up to date with the latest firmware.
- Outdated firmware can sometimes cause connectivity issues.
- To check for updates, visit the manufacturer’s website for your router, modem, or gaming console.

Checking for other bandwidth-heavy applications
- If you are experiencing slow internet speeds, it is possible that other bandwidth-heavy applications are running on your network.
- This could include things like streaming video, downloading files, or playing online games.
- To check for other bandwidth-heavy applications, open your Task Manager and look at the Network tab.
- If you see any applications that are using a lot of bandwidth, try closing them and see if your internet speeds improve.
