Indiana Jones and the Great Circle update 1.005 (version 1.005.000) is now available to download on PC and Xbox. According to the official Indiana Jones and the Great Circle 1.005 patch notes, the latest update resolves a critical bug that caused permanent item loss and addresses issues with the “Archivist” achievement.. Steam Deck Optimization

  • Game is now Verified for Steam Deck.

  • Fresh game profiles now use default optimized settings for Steam Deck.

  • New “Steam Deck” texture pool size setting prevents RAM overload and crashes.

  • All other graphics settings remain adjustable by the player.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed issue where rapid d-pad item switching while picking up objects could cause permanent loss of progression items (camera, lighter, whip). Affected players will have items restored after installing the hotfix.

  • Fixed blocked Iraq cave door that previously prevented revisiting the main chamber.

  • Fixed missing “Forgotten Page” activity note in Sunan’s hut if skipped earlier in the Hotel.

  • Addressed one cause of the “Archivist” achievement not unlocking. Achievement will now unlock after starting gameplay post-update. Other causes still under investigation.

Controller Enhancements

  • Improved DualSense Adaptive Triggers to stop subtle clicking near friendly NPCs.

  • Added menu option to customize Adaptive Trigger strength or turn them off entirely.

  • On Steam, Steam Input is now disabled by default for PlayStation controllers to better showcase native DualSense features. Users can re-enable it in the Steam Controller settings.

  • Added stability fixes.
  • Added gameplay performance improvements.
  • Addressed game crashing issues.
  • Fixed an issue where certain terrain tiles might have lower resolution textures when looked at from very high angles on PlayStation 5 Pro.
