Hunt Showdown Update 1.82 Patch Notes (v1.13)

Hunt Showdown update 1.82 (v1.13) is rolling out on PS4, PC, and Xbox One. According to the official Hunt Showdown 1.82 patch notes, the latest update brings a new event “Tide fo Shadows”. Apart from this, today’s Hunt Showdown patch 1.82 also includes new features, fixes and improvements.

Previously, a major Hunt Showdown update 1.9 added a long list of gameplay changes and fixes. Unfortunately, players are still facing bugs and issues with the game. Today’s Hunt Showdown version 1.82 will fix a few of these issues.

Hunt Showdown 1.82 Patch Notes (Update 1.13) – June 28, 2023

Live Event: Take on Rotjaw in the Tide of Shadows

  • The Tide of Shadows Live Event is running from June 28th to August 23rd.
  • Players can participate in new challenges, unlock rewards, and experience new gameplay.
  • Three new Pacts (Primal Pact, Smugglers Pact, Grounded Pact) are introduced, each offering unique Traits and lore.
  • Legendary Weapons and equipment are available to acquire.
  • Pledge Marks are obtained by reaching the Event Point Threshold, looting the first Hunter, and banishing the first Target.

Rotjaw, the Wild Target

  • Rotjaw is a female alligator with unique characteristics.
  • Unlike other Boss Targets, she can be found in open water territories.
  • Defeating Rotjaw earns players a Bounty Token.

Pacts and Traits

  • Each Pact offers a set of unique Traits that provide new ways to play.
  • Players must pledge their Hunters to a Pact and acquire Pledge Marks to unlock Traits.
  • Trait Charms appear at Pledge Posts, and Hunters can exchange Pledge Marks for Event Traits.
  • Burn Traits are a new category of single-use Traits that can be acquired multiple times.
  • Primal Pact, Smugglers Pact, and Grounded Pact have different Traits available.

Event Points

  • Event Points drive player progress and reward acquisition.
  • Various actions such as interacting with Event Clues or Rifts, banishing Targets, extracting Bounty Tokens, and more earn Event Points.
  • Ship Altars, new event objects, can be interacted with or destroyed to earn Event Points.

Ship Altars

  • Ship Altars spawn in different locations and offer Event Points when interacted with.
  • They can also be destroyed for fewer points, causing damage and bleeding to nearby Hunters.

New Changes.

  • Shooting Range: A new space where players can test their loadouts and get accustomed to the game’s gunplay. It offers different areas for short, medium, and long-range shooting, throwables testing, and projectile penetration testing.
  • Target Dummies: Custom dummies representing actual Hunters, with 150 Health Points and status effects. They reset after 3 seconds when downed and are visible in Dark Sight.
  • Ping Range Indicator: Players can use the ping function to gauge distances in the Shooting Range, displaying a range indicator from their position to the ping marker’s location. Teammates’ ping markers also have range indicators.
  • Custom Respawn Options: When downed in the Shooting Range, players have two options to revive themselves: Reviving in place with full health or respawning in a safe location nearby with full health and replenished inventory.
  • Multiplayer Options: Players can join the Shooting Range with a group of up to 3 players.
  • Ammo Crates: Fixed amounts of ammunition per type when resupplying from regular ammo crates and special ammo crates. The update has also increased the amounts of ammo received from Ammo Boxes.
  • Dual Wield Ammo Reduction: The extra amount of ammunition carried when dual wielding handguns has been reduced by half to balance gameplay.
  • Equipment Pricing: Prices for certain items have been adjusted, including Bomb Lance Custom Ammo and Martini-Henry IC1 variants. Prices for Incendiary ammo and High Velocity ammo have also been increased.
  • Mission Summary Accolades: Adjustments have been made to the grading requirements and rewards for different accolades, such as completing contracts, unlocking book mastery, acquiring upgrade points, AI kills, player kills, extracted money, and closed Rifts in Soul Survivor.
  • New Legendary Content: Introduction of new legendary weapons and items, including Caldwell 92 New Army – Deputy, Caldwell Conversion Chain Pistol – Widower, Knuckle Knife – Knotted Spine, Martini-Henry IC1 Ironside – Heaven’s Key, Scottfield Model 3 – Judge, Scottfield Model 3 Swift – Jury, Sticky Bomb – Equine Heart, Vetterli 71 Karabiner – The Noose, Vitality Shot (Weak) – Sanguis Christi, and Winfield 1893 Slate – Eulogy.
  • Black Market Content Update: Refreshed contents of all three Black Market Contractors.
  • Restoration – Additional Banish and Wellspring Feedback: UI and audio cues have been added to highlight the special nature of the Restoration effect triggered by Banish and Wellspring.

  • Fixed various issues with different weapons playing the wrong movement sound.
  • Adjusted the footstep audio for enemy Hunters when they are above the player to be less audible over distance.
  • Fixed the Sledgehammer and Shovel pick-up sounds.
  • Fixed an issue that caused Grunts to be sitting on thin air or glitching through walls.
  • Fixed an issue that allowed Boss Targets to sometimes hit the player through walls with a melee attack.
  • Fixed an issue that allowed Grunts, Immolators, and Armoreds to sometimes consider Hunters behind walls as directly attackable targets.
  • Fixed an issue where Meatheads would not drop a Trait 100% of the time in Scripted Tutorials.
  • Fixed damage to different targets being incorrectly grouped into one combat log entry.
  • Fixed the wrong killer being displayed when dealing damage after dying.
  • Fixed Ghoul health regeneration incorrectly showing as an unknown source in the combat log.
  • Fixed issues with the combat log entries, such as missing entries, incorrect damage type icons, and white boxes appearing instead of correct entries.
  • Renamed the option “Show name of your killer” to “Show player names” to affect all player names in the combat log, death screen, and team details.
  • Fixed an issue where the item price was hidden after switching to any Legendary skins in the Equipment screen.
  • Fixed various issues on the death screen, including incorrect information displayed and missing rewards.
  • Fixed a rare issue causing the Mission Summary screen to display a different number of rewards than what the player actually received.
  • Fixed an issue in the Equipment screen that caused the weapon list to jump after equipping a consumable.
  • Fixed a visual issue with the “missing First Aid Kit” pop-up when equipped with the Scarfskin Satchel First Aid Kit.
  • Fixed several overlapping text issues in the Tutorial.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the Health and Equipment bars to be permanently displayed in the Tutorial, even when deactivated in the Options.
