Hunt Showdown update 1.8 is now available to download on PS4, Xbox and PC (Steam). According to the official Hunt Showdown 1.8 patch notes, the latest update addressed an exploit where dead hunters were invincible and could kill other players. Apart from this, today’s Hunt Showdown patch 1.8 also includes performance fixes.
Previously, a major update added a new weapon (Winfield 1893 Slate and Caldwell 92 New Army). The patch also added tentative client and server performance fixes.
Unfortunately, since the last patch, players are experiencing issues with the game. Today’s Hunt Showdown patch 1.8 will fix a few of these issues.
Hunt Showdown 1.8 Hotfix Patch Notes – March 21, 2022
- Fixed an exploit where dead hunters were invincible and could kill other players
- Fixes the Concertina Armoured bugs
- Added a fix for the bug that caused hunters to drop a weapon when revived
- Added a fix for a bug that allowed players to break the ladder animation and use equipment while climbing.
In order to ensure this update takes effect, you must exit the game/restart steam to initialize the download. We will be monitoring this change closely should any further issues arise.
