Hitman 3 update 1.28 (version 1.028) is available to download on PS4, PS5(1.028.000), PC and Xbox players. Gameplay

  • Dusting Off the Old Firearm: Addressed a bug causing the Splitter SMG and Ancestral Pistol to appear invisible, trigger crashes, or block progression in Freelancer Mode.
  • Break the Wall Down: Fixed an issue where an invisible wall blocked access in Hokkaido after exiting the morgue staircase.

Locations

  • Rhythm is a Dancer: Fixed an issue where completing the “Farewell” mission in Mendoza forced third-person perspective in other missions.
  • Putting Your Feet Up: Addressed a bug in New York where skipping the intro caused NPCs to float above ground.

UI

  • Useful Advice: Fixed an issue where loading screen tips failed to appear.

PlayStation®5 (PS VR2 Mode Only – Patch 3.220.1)
Gameplay

  • Somebody Saved Me:
    • Addressed a bug corrupting save files or causing crashes when loading saves where Agent 47 held items.
    • Recommendation: Create new saves post-patch to avoid legacy issues.
  • Hands on the Holster: Adjusted haptic/sound triggers for holsters to prevent repeated activation.
  • Don’t Paint it Black: Fixed screen fading issues when interacting with geometry or windows.
  • Wrist Exercises: Improved firearm alignment for a straighter aiming angle.
  • New Toys: Resolved interaction difficulties with ladders, crowbars, keypads, and other set pieces.

    • Addressed a bug where holding the Fiber Wire blocked interactions with set pieces or body dragging.
    • Fixed animation conflicts when dragging bodies while priming the Fiber Wire.

    • Reconfigured button inputs: Prime with R1/L1, activate by grabbing the second controller’s bumper.
    • Prioritized actions (e.g., grabbing items/disguises) over Fiber Wire priming.
  • Ambidextrous Case: Fixed an issue preventing right-handed item retrieval from suitcases.
  • Weapon Design Overhaul: Resolved visual errors (misaligned silencers/magazines) on pistols and SMGs.
  • Knock Knock Who’s There: Fixed missing locks, incorrect rotations, and misplaced door prompts.
  • Cleaning Up: Adjusted body container interactions to work at varied angles.
  • Weapon Handler: Prevented firearms from getting stuck on geometry during aiming.
  • Hands Off: Added UI warnings for non-stranglable NPCs in VR.
  • Easy Trigger: Stopped shooting sounds/haptics after ammo depletion.

KNOWN ISSUES

  • The VR tutorial may soft-lock if players discard guns from the accessible area.
  • PlayStation®5 crashes may occur in Freelancer Mode when equipping two large weapons in the Safehouse before missions.
