Hitman 3 update 1.040 (version 1.040.000) is available to download on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. According to the official Hitman 3 version 1.040.000 patch notes, the latest update 3.270.1 removes the Arcade completion blocker, corrects The Wizard ET rewards and mission failures, fixes Intel Arc GPU crashes, adds a Water Tower pipe in Colorado, and introduces Bananas across multiple maps. In addition, Hitman 3 patch 1.040 also resolves several outfit, AI, poison, subtitle, and platform-related issues.

- Removed The Disruptor from the Arcade challenge tracker, preventing it from blocking 100% location completion.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed The Wizard ET rewarding the Tracksuit Duck instead of the Muay Thai Duck.
- Fixed visible leg seams on the Bio Suit and Head Researcher disguises in Patient Zero.
- Changed the Bowtie Duck into a Twitch Drop for HITMAN World of Assassination streams after previous reward issues.
- Fixed the Classic All-Black Suit spawning the default outfit during mission planning.
- Fixed Sapienza bodyguards failing to follow targets to the Observatory and Francesca’s Office.
- Fixed Hokkaido NPCs affected by emetic poison always going to Yuki’s room instead of the nearest available location.
- Fixed sliding doors becoming permanently unusable after using water or oil canisters nearby.
- Fixed Epic Games players being unable to open the World Champions Pack store page from the in-game menu.
- Fixed server errors caused by placing items inside Agency Pickups or Hidden Stashes.
- Fixed poison interactions incorrectly being treated as illegal for every disguise.

- Fixed certain briefcases allowing stored items to cast visible shadows.
- Added a climbable pipe to the Colorado Water Tower, making descent easier.
- Added Bananas to various maps for additional gameplay interactions.
IOI Account
- Fixed the linked account modal so it prompts players to close and continue instead of displaying the full IOI Account webpage.
