Guilty Gear Strive Update 1.19 Patch Notes (Official)

Guilty Gear Strive update 1.19 (1.019.000) details are now available for PS4, PC, and PS5 players. According to the official Guilty Gear Strive 1.18 patch notes, the latest update added changes for System, May, Faust, Zato-1 and more. Apart from this, Guilty Gear Strive patch 1.19 (1.019) also includes general performance improvements.

Guilty Gear Strive patch 1.19 download size is not available yet. Previously, a big game update added a new playable character, an additional stage “Lap of the Kami, and much more.

Unfortunately, since the last patch, players are experiencing issues with the game. Today’s Guilty Gear Strive version 1.19 will fix a few of these issues. Check out more details below.

Guilty Gear 1.19 Patch Notes – July 1, 2022

Battle

【System】

  • Fixed a camera bug that would sometimes occur when performing a Homing Jump during the counter hit effect.

【May】

  • Fixed a bug that would sometimes occur when the opponent’s Overdrive super flash activated while the player was holding down the button for Mr. Dolphin Vertical (All Versions).

【Faust】

  • Fixed a bug where the afro would fail to explode under certain conditions.
  • Fixed a bug where the banana peel would fail to hit under certain conditions.
  • Fixed a bug from the Ver. 1.18 update where the character would sometimes be blown back in an unintended direction after the banana peel hits.

【Zato-1】

  • Fixed a bug where Eddie would sometimes disappear regardless of the remaining Eddie Gauge.

【Ramlethal Valentine】

  • Fixed a bug where the damage setting for the final hit of Calvados would sometimes be applied multiple times.

【I-No】

  • Fixed a bug from the Ver. 1.18 update that made it possible for her to block or back dash directly after her dash begins.

Other Issues

【Issue with Network Play】

We have confirmed several issues with network connection errors, disconnections, difficulty matching, and long connection wait times in online lobbies and player matches. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

The development team is currently looking into several solutions for these problems. Although such fixes will be implemented gradually, we expect to provide improvements in future updates to reduce the frequency of these errors.

【Player R-Codes Changed During Play】

We have received reports of incidents where the Steam version has suddenly crashed during play, and the player’s name has been changed upon restarting the game. The development team is aware of this problem, and currently looking into several solutions.
