Rockstar game has released a new GTA San Andreas Definitive Edition update 1.007 on PS4, PS5, PC, and Xbox. According to the official GTA San Andreas update 1.007 patch notes, the latest update adds the classic lighting mode to consoles and PC, enhancing the models and textures. Additionally, GTA San Andreas patch 1.007 also includes performance improvements.
Previously, a big update was released with various bug fixes and gameplay changes. Unfortunately, since the last patch, players are experiencing a number of issues in Grand Theft Auto 3, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and GTA: San Andreas. GTA San Andreas Definitive 1.07 Patch Notes – November 12, 2024
- Classic Mode: New classic mode restores original lighting for a nostalgic feel.
- Cutscene Pausing: Players can now pause cutscenes using ESC or a gamepad.
- Smoother Gunplay: Introduced a new movement mode to improve gun handling.
- Save Date and Time: Added date and time stamps to saves in the menu.
- New Visual Effects: Updated with new lens flares and additional VFX.
- Removed Branding: Grove Street Games branding has been removed from all games.
- New ToS Screen: Terms of Service screen appears upon game launch.
Visual Enhancements
- Restored Weather: Original weather presets for all major areas have been reintroduced.
- Street Lighting: Streetlights now have an orange hue to match the setting’s ambiance.
- Planar Reflections and VFX: Enhanced reflections and added new visual effects throughout.
- Real-Time Shadows: Updated shadows to move in real time instead of chunks.
Gameplay and Environmental Changes
- Improved Character Rigging: Enhanced animations, particularly for crouching and biking.
- Original Volumetric Clouds: Restored the OG clouds visible when flying; modern clouds disabled if Classic Lighting is on.
- Grove Street Update: Improved transparency for weep holes on Grove Street’s bridge.
Bug Fixes
- CJ’s Drinking Animation: Fixed animation when CJ drinks from a can.
- Nightclub Music: Resolved issue with missing nightclub music.
- Frame Pacing Issues: Addressed pacing issues on Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5.
- Swimming Speed and VFX: Adjusted swimming speed and corrected CJ’s punking animations.
