[Grand Theft Auto 5] GTA 5 update 1.008.001 is rolling out on PS5 and Xbox One. According to the official GTA 5 1.008.001 patch notes, the latest brings crash fixes in GTA Online, The Cayo Perico Heist, and the Pack Man mission. Grand Theft Auto 5 PS5 version 1.008.001 also includes general stability and gameplay performance improvements.

Game Stability and Performance
- Fixed a set of issues which were resulting in crashes when playing GTA Online
- Fixed an issue that resulted in a crash when playing ‘Gather Intel’ for The Cayo Perico Heist on Xbox Series X|S consoles
- Fixed an issue that resulted in a crash when playing the mission ‘Pack Man’ in GTAV on Xbox Series X|S consoles
- General stability fixes
- Added performance improvements.
- Addressed game crashing issues.
- Addressed missing audio bug.
- Other minor tweaks.

Previously, GTA V update 1.44 added 18 new vehicles, 4 new Bennys vehicles, new events and much more. Recently, GTAV update 1.007 brings the Los Santos Drug Wars event and ray tracing on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Unfortunately, since the last major patch, players experiencing several issues with the online gameplay. Today’s GTA 5 patch 1.008.001 will fix a few of these issues.
