Performance Improvements

  • Lowered the player streaming range so fewer objects load at once, significantly reducing hitching around the Park.
  • Resources will re-grow throughout player bases as a result of the streaming changes.
  • Optimized performance around player bases and the Park to reduce stutters and hitching.

Omni-Tool Changes

  • Updated the Omni-Tool to destroy regrown resources in a single hit when they appear through player-built structures.
  • The same behavior will return with the 0.5 “Into the Abyss” update on August 11.

Crash Fixes and Stability

  • Resolved multiple crash issues present in version 0.4.2.
  • Fixed approximately 35% of the crashes reported in version 0.4.1.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue that could cause AXL to become softlocked during combat and roar indefinitely.
  • Fixed a bug causing Half Int. Corner Stairs to change orientation and rotate into an incorrect position.

Previously, a major Grounded update 1.3 added a new game mode called “Playgrounds,” offering extensive customization and creativity options, alongside quality-of-life improvements. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing issues with the game. Today’s Grounded patch 2.000.018 will address a few of these errors.
