Gothic 1 Remake update 1.000.008 is available to download on PS5, PC and Xbox Series X/S. According to the official Gothic 1 Remake patch notes, the latest update 1.0.2 hotfix 1 resolves interaction problems with Xardas’ Demon, restores missing save profiles, fixes a document-related crash, and corrects Baal Lukor’s death event in the Orc Cemetery. Apart from this, today’s Gothic 1 Remake patch 1.000.008 also improves crime attribution and faction relationships during the Free Mine raid.

Gameplay Fixes
- Fixed an issue that prevented proper interaction with Xardas’ Demon.
- Fixed a problem where Baal Lukor would not die in the Orc Cemetery for some players.
- Corrected crime detection when using magic so the proper instigator is assigned.
- Fixed faction and relationship behavior during the Free Mine raid.
Save System
- Improved savegame and profile management logic.
- Added a recovery feature for savegame profiles that exist but do not appear in-game.
Stability
- Fixed a crash that could occur after interacting with a document containing images.
